About Miss Saline

Miss Saline has been a leader in the Saline community for over 70 years.  As a high school  junior or senior who will graduate in 2022 or 2023, and who live in Saline or the Saline school district are eligible to compete for this scholarship in 2021.  In addition to receiving scholarship funds, Miss Saline will make monthly appearances, receive professional portraits from the official Miss Saline photographer, Heidi McClelland, and come back to crown next year's Miss Saline.

What to expect

The Miss Saline Scholarship Pageant will take place the afternoon of August 14th in Downtown Saline.  Contestants will model an evening gown of choice, participate in an opening number, and be prepared to answer two on stage questions.  Miss Saline 2021 will be crowned by Miss Saline 2020, Sayoni Bandyopadhyay.  

Job Overview

Miss Saline is an exciting year long commitment.  Miss Saline will be expected to make monthly appearances in the community, and devote time to visiting small business openings and being a positive representation of the Saline community.  As the year comes to an end, the scholarship funds will be delivered to the college, trade school, or certification program that Miss Saline will be attending in the fall.
